Testing and Inspections

SOLO Smoke Heat KitRequired by Local, State and National Fire Codes, periodic testing of the Fire Alarm System is a necessary step to ensure the fire alarm system will perform as required when needed. Preventative maintenance and periodic testing not only provides compliance with NFPA 72, but keeps the system within manufacturers specified parameters and avoids unexpected failure within a system.

Testing includes all connected initiating and signalling devices, verifying all auxiliary functions such as elevator recall, HVAC shutdown and sprinkler device activation operate as an integrated system. The control panel and power supply batteries are also tested.

Upon completion of the scheduled test, the customer will be provided with an inspection report detailing the status of their system and outlining any service that may be needed.

Our Service Team can provide you with a quotation to Test and Inspect your system at the required intervals determined by your type of occupancy. Most facilities require annual testing, while others may require quarterly inspections. At your request we can include testing of the system outside of normal business hours.
